Now that I have shared some of my work and knowledge, I would like to give you some other resources that may help you on your journey to be a 21st century teacher.  While attending college at Francis Marion University, I had the opportunity to listen to some very informational speakers.  One that really sticks out, is a workshop that was present by Debbie Jarrett from SCETV.  She manages to stay  on the forefront of classroom technology.  While attending her workshop, I was introduced to the many extensions and add-ons that you can obtain for your Google account.  Teachers can now download an extension that will allow them to use a font on their handouts that is easier for children with dyslexia to read.  There is also an extension on Google that allows a person to make a video of what they are doing on their computer.  This gives teachers an opportunity to upload a lesson to Google Classroom that shows what they did for that day.  To search for relevant Google add ons and extensions just go to the webstore.  To help teachers get funding for projects in their classrooms there is Donorschoose.  This site allows teachers to ask for the materials they need and then donors will help pay for it.  They also send the materials needed so you do not have to go shopping.
