Today's classrooms have all sorts of ways to incorporate technology.  In the majority of classrooms today you will find that a Smartboard is now standard equipment.  Students now are also using tablets to take tests, read books, and laptops to learn their lessons and do in-class activities.  Teachers need to be up to date on all of the latest technology in order to keep up with their students.  I am providing a few examples of what I have created.  The first one is an example of two free apps that can be downloaded to an Ipad.  Both of these apps are educational tools that teach the students while they are playing games and having fun.  Plus, they are free and what teacher doesn't love that.  The next button is how to incorporate materials you find online.   Yes, the internet has all the information available, but incorporating the information into a lesson is the key.  It is important that you do not use technology just for the sake of using it.  The button after that is a link to a Prezi that I created.  A Prezi is a different way to bring information to your students without having to resort to the usual Power Point.  It shows the information in an entirely new way.  On the second row I have put an example of a Smartboard lesson I have created.  In this project I used the smart notebook to create a lesson from scratch and the Smartboard Exchange to get something a little more complex than I was comfortable creating as a new user.  Last, but not least, I have a button for you to check out Mincraft Education Edition.  Minecraft is HUGE in a lot of students' outside lives.  This will allow students to bring that love of the game to classroom learning objectives.  This edition allows students to collaborate with one another in small groups or as an entire class.
