Professional Learning Networks are a way to keep you connected to teachers around the world.  Once you start using these tools, you may ask yourself how you ever lived without them.  There are many different ways to share ideas with fellow teachers.  One way is through Pinterest.  This let's you search an endless array of topics to get ideas for everything from classroom management and behavior management to crafts for holidays and science projects.  You can also use the popular social media site Twitter to keep informed on what is going on in the world of education.  This has the advantage of being up to the minute information.  Teachers can also create a class Twitter account to showcase student work and keep students and teachers aware of classroom activities and assignments.  A great way to keep all your resources together is through Diigo.  This allows you to bookmark and annotate and make notes on web based resources.  The great thing is if you log into your Diigo account you can access everything from any computer that has internet access.  These tools can inspire your creativity and widen your community, what's not to love?
